Fonzo

Fonzo is a web based phone book management software. It can be used to manage multiple phone books per user as well as a global phone book. Users can create their own phone books and the administrator may allow them to edit the global phone book, as well. Fonzo is capable of interfacing with snom telephones through an XML interface.

It is either available as a hosted service via http://www.fonzo.org or can be downloaded and installed locally from http://www.bevuta.com/phoneapps/fonzo-0.1.tar.gz

Future

Fonzo will be maintained as an open source project as soon as the needed infrastructure is in place. Planned features include an edit interface for snom clients as well as advanced search functionality.

Technology

Fonzo is built upon the Ruby on Rails framework and thus may run on any environment Ruby if available for (or even in Tomcat via JRuby).
