[edit] The InterAsterisk conference application

This application is intended for smaller companies which would like to manage their internal/external phone directly from their Snom phones. The key feature of this conference solution is the creation of conference room keys which can then be given to the conference participants.

[edit] The Concept

To allow private conferences, you create a conference room with start date and time. The room number (4 digits) is only valid at this time, so nobody can get into the conf before it officially starts which together with the number offers some protection against unauhorized participants.

The room numbers and start timestamps are stored in the internal Asterisk database.
